Aijaz Baloch leads the Machine Learning (ML) Group, while also managing US Operations for Techlogix. He has over 25 years of experience in developing Machine Learning and Data Science technology solutions. His current interests include automating Machine Learning Interpretability and Explainable AI.

Aijaz has previously worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratories in the Machine Intelligence group where he developed a neural network system for behavioral conditioning of mobile robots. From 1995 to 1998, Aijaz held a research faculty position at Boston University’s Department of Cognitive and Neural Systems. There he developed neural models of visual motion perception and implemented real-time systems for visual motion processing. From 1998 to 2000, Aijaz developed models of financial fraud detection as a Senior Modeling Scientist at Nestor, Inc.

Aijaz received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Boston University in Engineering & Applied Sciences. He has published several papers in reputed international journals. He was also awarded a US patent for his inventions at Techlogix.
