• The award was presented to SECP at the Annual Laureates Medal Ceremony & Gala Awards event on June 20, 2011 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. where the Pakistan National Flag was hoisted, for the first time.

• On the home front, the eServices Project Team was awarded with mementos by both the Pakistan Computer Society and the Pakistan Information Security Association in recognition of the institutional change brought about that proved SECP's commitment to cultivating a healthy, transparent, and accountable business environment for all the investors.

• eServices is an electronic data gathering and retrieval system that performs automated collection, acceptance and forwarding of submissions by companies who are required by law to file forms and documents with the SECP.

• The primary purpose of the project is to increase the efficiency of the corporate sector for the benefit of investors, companies, and the economy by accelerating the receipt, acceptance and dissemination of time-sensitive corporate information field with the Commission.

• There are numerous benefits of this eServices system for the business and corporate sector of Pakistan as it provides the investor a transparent, efficient and cutting-edge environment.

• Deployed in partnership with Techlogix, the eServices Platform brought about a significant amount of time reduction to corporate registrations particularly of specialized companies, annual and quarterly filing of returns as well as complaints and inquiries, making the technology efficient yet transparent.

• Accessible from anywhere in the world, all that is needed is a login ID with a digital signature eliminating a need to visit the SECP Offices even for the filing of statutory returns.

• At SECP, the eServices Project automated the entire Solution Architecture from Forms Submission to Content Management.

• Techlogix's solution included deployment of an IBM Workplace Forms Server that enabled all external users to carry out an online form submission instead of a paper-based submission.

• For the internal user, an eServices Platform made possible an access of all forms in an integrated business environment on an IBM Workflow Server, IBM WebSphere Portal Server and DB2 Content Manager.
