Boxed in by departmental silos, organizations want to break free to a state where elements of corporate strategy can be tied to the improvement of business processes. We find that a majority of efforts at process management in corporations across the globe become lopsided despite well-intentioned efforts. How often does a new, well-designed process fail in execution because there is no single empowered owner that focuses on and is held responsible for its health? While much has been written about the theory of enterprise-wide process based initiatives, we have yet to find a comprehensive (end-to-end) framework that consists of practical toolkits based on best practices that can help organizations achieve their objective in a holistic and structured way.
