Salman Akhtar
Co-CEO and Co-Founder |
|
|
Salman Akhtar is Founder and Co-CEO of Techlogix. He has led the company's growth as a methodology driven organization focused on delivering engineering excellence using an evolving mix of technologies.
He is the primary contributor in the development of the BPX™, the industry leading BPM/SOA delivery methodology. He has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences and panels.
Salman's current technical interests include SaaS models of solution delivery for enterprise systems, innovative technologies for solving large scale problems in the financial services and higher education verticals and the merging of BPM/SOA, operational Business Intelligence and event driven business systems.
Salman holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT. He did his MS thesis research in compound semiconductor physics at the IBM Watson Research Center.
Salman loves a good book. Some that he'd recommend include: "Midnight in Sicily", "Guns, Germs and Steel", "Mountains beyond Mountains", "The Remains of the Day" and "Collected Fictions" by Borges. |

Kewan Khawaja

Kewan Khawaja is Founder and Co-CEO of Techlogix. While donning multiple hats, Kewan loves playing a motivational role to bring out the best in the company's multifaceted workforce.
His consulting interests are focused around business process management, business intelligence, and alignment of enterprise IT initiatives with corporate strategy.
Before founding Techlogix, Kewan worked at Boston-based Cambridge Technology Partners where he developed applications for American Airlines. At a previous position at Steven & Associates, Kewan developed vibration analysis software for power plants and chip-manufacturing facilities.
Kewan holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Funded by the US Army's Construction Engineering Research Laboratory, his research work at MIT was focused on developing spatial analysis tools for the US Army's geographic information system. |

Aijaz Baloch

Aijaz Baloch has been with Techlogix since 1997, initially as a lead consultant for cutting-edge technology projects. In 2000 he joined Techlogix as a full-time employee, managing programs within the Software Product Engineering practice. Currently he is the Vice President of Operations and provides overall directions and guidance for the US operations with the objective of maximizing growth and complete customer satisfaction.
Aijaz has previously worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratories in the Machine Intelligence group where he developed a neural network system for behavioral conditioning of mobile robots. From 1995 to1998, Aijaz held a research faculty position at Boston University’s Department of Cognitive and Neural Systems. There he developed neural models of visual motion perception and implemented real-time systems for visual motion processing. From 1998 to 2000, Aijaz developed models of financial fraud detection as a Senior Modeling Scientist at Nestor, Inc.
Aijaz received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Boston University in Engineering & Applied Sciences. He has published several papers in reputed international journals. He also owns a US patent awarded for his inventions at Techlogix. |

Rizwan Rashid

Rizwan Rashid is Vice President of Professional Services at Techlogix and looks after the Higher Education vertical. He has over twenty-five years of experience in oil and gas, semiconductor manufacturing, microprocessor-based designing, IT, development assistance (a decade with the UN) and education sectors. His interests include Change Management, Business Process Re-engineering and Implementation of Enterprise Class Applications. His research interest is in the area of IT and Organizational culture.
He has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA with focus on Information Management. |
